Inside the first Nexus Forum event during Web Summit Vancouver
Tropoly and Ryan hosted the first ever Nexus Forum on Wednesday, May 13th, during Web Summit Vancouver, at L'Abbatoir, the spiritual successor to our Nexus Night event at the conference last year. The theme was Trust in a Tectonic Shift, leading off with over a dozen of the city’s most senior leaders sitting down at one table discussing it at all angles, from the stakes at large to what they’re seeing in their own businesses and spheres of influence. Senior leaders thinking out loud with people they trust, on the questions most rooms don't get to.
We then opened the room to an invite-only forum featuring firesides with Michael Tippett of Generation Studios, and Andrew Woods of AMTRA Solutions, with moderation by Sharad Khare of Human Biography. Their conversations pulled at the tensions of the philosophy of the AI era and into the implementation tensions facing real businesses now. Conversation and connections ran past midnight.
The Nexus Forum event is part of the Growth Nexus community series. Formed and organized by Tropoly and Ryan, Growth Nexus brings together business leaders from all corners of Canada’s multifaceted industry landscape to connect, discuss, and find solutions to real problems faced by companies and executives in an ever-changing market.
